Hollywell School Council

Representatives from all classes Y1 – Y6 sit on the School Council.  They bring ideas from their classes to the council meetings and take ideas for consultation back to their classes.  2022 – 23 projects the council have been actively involved with include:

• the re-generation of the playground, with climbing frames, staging, seating, new markings and a fenced MUGA
• reviewing the school menus and creating new ones aligned to the healthy eating choices of the school community

• promoting and organising events such as the summer disco

ECO Crew

The ECO crew meet to discuss and organise ways our school can be more environmentally friendly. This includes promoting water conservation in classrooms, switching off lights, litter picking, planting insect friendly plants and tending the vegetable garden.

PE Crew

The PE Crew supports the development of physical activity in school.  They are responsible for devising and implementing fun sporting activities to engage their peers during playtimes.  They confidently use a range of equipment to facilitate this and ensure everyone feels included.

Assembly Crew

The Assembly Crew set up the hall for every assembly.  They are organised and efficient and ensure each assembly starts smoothly.
