Term Dates & The School Day

Please note that we discourage parents from taking their child out of school during term time, as we know that reduced attendance has a direct impact on a child's learning. If you choose to take your child out of school for a holiday during term time, this will be classed as an unauthorised absence and a fine could be issued. Further guidance about taking holidays during term time can be found on the Nottinghamshire County Council website.

The School Day

Reception

Morning

8.45am to 12.30pm

Afternoon

1.30pm to 3.15pm

We offer a flexible pick-up between 3.15pm & 3.25pm.

Length of school week: 32.5 hours

Key Stage One (Year 1 & 2)

Morning

8.50am to 12.30pm

We offer a flexible drop-off from 8.40am

Afternoon

1.30pm to 3.20pm

Length of school week: 32.5 hours

Lower Key Stage Two (Year 3 & 4)

Morning

8.50am to 12.00 noon

We offer a flexible drop-off between 8.40am

Afternoon

1.00pm to 3.25pm

Length of school week: 32.91 hours

Upper Key Stage Two (Year 5 & 6)

Morning

8.50am to 12.00 noon

We offer a flexible drop-off between 8.40am

Afternoon

1.00pm to 3.30pm

Length of school week: 33.33 hours

School is open for flexible drop off from 8.40am and children can go straight into class. The gate will be closed promptly at 8.50am and late arrivals will enter the school through the main office. The register is taken at 8.50am and children are expected to be seated in class by 8.50am.
