'At Hollywell Everyone Matters'
The children thoroughly enjoyed sharing their books with one another and chatting about their stories as part of our World Book Day celebrations.
It was wonderful to see their enthusiasm for reading and the excitement they brought to the day 🤩
On Friday 27th February, a group of pupils from Years 3–6 represented Hollywell at a swimming gala alongside 12 other schools.
We are incredibly proud to share that Team Hollywell finished 3rd overall – a fantastic achievement!
There were some outstanding individual swims on the day, with pupils showing real determination and skill in the pool. Just as impressive was the encouragement and support shown to one another throughout the event. The team spirit on display truly reflected our school values.

Well done to our group of Y6 pupils who have worked hard to raise money and purchase food to donate to Eastwood Food Bank. Thank you also to everyone who kindly sent in additional food items.
The food bank were extremely grateful, especially at this time of year when donations are typically lower.
Well done to our Hollywell team who took part in the Maths Masters 2026.
