  • SCHOOL VISIT FROM CHILDREN'S AUTHOR SAM COPELAND

    Mon 18 Mar 2024

We had a brilliant visit from the author Sam Copeland. He was fantastic! His presentation to our KS2 children was hilarious and the children asked some amazing questions about how he became an author. He was very inspiring to listen to and a real advocate for the children on the power of books to change lives. The children loved getting their books signed and the chance to meet a real author.

He will also be running some virtual live sessions over the coming weeks with our EYFS & KS1 children and joining them for live Storytime's.

His books, especially Charlie Changes into a Chicken’, have become many children's favourite book and we have also got lots of his books now in our school and class libraries. It was a real treat and a great way to kick off Word Book Day at Hollywell.
