Hollywell is very much a family school and we work together in partnership with our parents and governors to ensure that all our children are happy and achieve well. It is important to us that your children are given the best possible start in their educational careers.

We are pleased that Ofsted’s most recent inspection judged the school to be good in all areas.

Our staff is committed to developing the whole child through a variety of teaching and learning opportunities. We deliver a high quality of education, recognising strengths and achievements, in a secure and happy environment.

Children at Hollywell are “polite, courteous and they get on well with each other” Ofsted 2012. Children have good attitudes and are eager to learn. Teachers work hard to develop that enthusiasm.

We value the uniqueness that each individual child brings to our school community and we actively encourage social inclusion. Children at Hollywell work and play together well.

I am very proud to be the leader of a committed and enthusiastic team of professional people. Teaching is judged to be good to outstanding; and teachers know their children well. We are dedicated to helping children learn, develop positive attitudes, and to be the best they can be!
