We held a special assembly this week to celebrate raising the highest amount of money in the district for the 2022 Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal. We raised an amazing £349.32!

During the Assembly, John Handley spoke to the children about the purpose of the Poppy Appeal and about all the volunteers who support it. On asking a reception pupil, 'Do you know what a volunteer is?' he received the fabulous reply ,'Yes, they are superhero's'  - we all totally agree!

Elizabeth Ellis, Head Teacher said, ‘we are very proud of all our children as they always give their absolute best to anything that we have in school and understand the importance of raising money for charity.  To be awarded for raising the highest amount in the district is a credit to school and their families.’
